Lieutenant James White has a happy home life, loving and beautiful wife Penny and a new job. Things go wrong when he sets off on his first morning to discover someone has put sugar in his petrol tank, but help is on hand when he's offered a lift by by stranger who overhears his woes and delivers him to his destination, late. When he arrives at the institution he is treated in a very peculiar way.
Quite a bizarre story, it seems at odds to the other offerings within the Scorpion Tales series. Unusual, but interesting, and quite engaging, it certainly keeps you wanting to learn the answer, but also the question being asked.
You do get to feel James's frustrations throughout, and he's well portrayed by David Robb.
It's a story I've always thought would have worked better as a Takes of The Unexpected.
No real answers come out of this one, it's a bit muddled, it's a bit confusing, and possibly the weakest entry in the series,
6/10.
