A good murder mystery.

Jemima's latest project is a TV special, looking inside the exquisite restaurant, Routier's. The evening before the shoot, Jemima is seduced by the owner Rolly Routier, who disappears midway through the champagne.

A pretty good episode, an intriguing storyline, with some big, big characters, and a fairly unusual, different set of rules. It's a whodunnit at a posh restaurant, the list of suspects is pretty big.

Jemima yet again has a tough time, in one evening she is assaulted, insulted and has a glass bottle thrown at her, the life of a television presenter is a tough one.

The best character of all, Georgie Routier, The Chef, Stratford Johns injected some real pizazz into him, he reminded me of Kurt from Fawlty Towers, the drunken chef that was in love with Manuel.

Pacing is really good, it builds up well, we don't learn Rolly's fate for about thirty minutes, there is enough intrigue to keep your attention. The conclusion was very good, enough red herrings to distract the viewer.

One big gripe, Jemima is seduced (almost) yet again, will there be a single episode where she isn't.

Stratford Johns and, Michael Attwell and Maggie Ollerenshaw were all excellent, Zena Walker stole the show as Monica. The only character I didn't really care for was Gina, who was just a little over the top.

7/10.
