Episode 348 is another entertaining one with Julia in her laboratory experimenting on Barnabas while Sarah the ghost girl shows up to befriend Carolyn. Lots of incident, garish colour schemes and high camp combine to make this the show at its most memorable.

Warning: Spoilers
"Maybe is a word I don't want to hear." That's Barnabas's reaction to Julia's thoughts that the aging hand might be temporary. It's interesting to note that when Barnabas puts out his hand, that the stand in for his older-looking hand looks exactly like the other hand which is obviously Jonathan Frid's, and the two hands are placed in a way like they come from one body. Barnabas warns that it will be curtains for Julia is she doesn't come up with a cure for what has happened.

At Collinwood, it's a wake up scream for Carolyn, with her finding David standing over her with one of his soldier toys he has brought to her for protection. Carolyn tells Elizabeth that it's time to reconsider sending David away. It seems we haven't seen Roger in weeks, and even before then, there was a long gap between episodes for Louis Edmunds. As it is very early in the morning, there is far too much light in Carolyn's room, although she looks beautiful while sleeping like it has been a long night. Interesting use of color for the pastel outfits and blankets gives a bit of eye candy towards the melodramatic goings on.
