This is a terrific little movie. Great visuals and beautiful landscapes add to a wonderful story of a boy longing for his mother--and how it affects the boy's relationship with his father and brings the two closer. This is a great effort by up and coming director Kihs. The film was shot in Oregon and the beauty shines through. The lead actors have a great chemistry that moves the story steadily along. Young Noah only wants what used to be. After losing his mother he sets out to find the things that are familiar to him. His father, John, puts his job on the line to help his son fulfill his dream. There are many elements of this film that point to a new director that has the talent and tools to become a household name.
