Storyline

Clark works hard to clean up the destruction done by Zod and develops what he thinks is his first cold apparently caused by his powerless time in the Phantom Zone. However, he soon discovers it is a new power: super breath! Meanwhile, Lois lands a job at The Inquisitor, the local tabloid and begins to investigate Clark, which forces Chloe to try to keep her off Clark's tail. Lana moves in the Luthor mansion with Lex, who believes someone is following him, which quickly proves to be true after he is kidnapped by a renegade government agent after he had witnessed Lex commit crimes during his possession by Zod. Also, Lionel meets with Oliver Queen, a young and reclusive millionaire and an old boarding school friend of Lex's, who arrives in Metropolis and offers his business to Luther Corp. Quotes

Lois Lane: I'm out there jogging along, minding my own business when, out of nowhere, a barn door comes falling from the clear, blue sky and almost crushes me. How does that happen?
Clark Kent: Maybe it fell from an airplane.
Lois Lane: Good guess, but the only thing up there was a severely traumatized sparrow.

Sneeze
8 April 2011 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

I always love the episodes where Clark discovers a new power. All of the scenes in "Sneeze" that deal with Clark's new power are just as fun and entertaining as all of the past ability discovery stories, but the real problem here is the very tacked on story involving Lex getting kidnapped. Compare it to X-Ray from season 1, Heat from season 2, and Whisper from season 3. Just like this episode, they all featured Clark having a new power develop in an intense and uncomfortable way, but the prior seasons always worked the side plots into Clark's story flawlessly. Lex's kidnapping in Sneeze seems completely irrelevant and tacked. There are still some entertaining scenes when the focus remains on Clark's out of control new power.
