Just goes to show you don't need a big budget to make a good film

I live in the UK and this film doesn't seem to be available here but i ordered a copy from USA as it sounded a good laugh. Just watched the film and i actually really enjoyed it. You can tell it is a low budget film and this does show in certain parts. Bits of it look like one of those home made movies you find on Youtube but the story and comedy easily makes up for that. The basic story is a guy named James is hypnotised to become more relaxed when me meets his fiancé's family, but things start to go wrong as the hypnotist did more than make James confident. I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it, but i enjoyed it and is a great laugh. I don't think its very suitable for children and if this was in the UK it would probably be a 15 due to swearing and sexual innuendos that is featured.

Like my title says though, not all films need a huge budget to make them fun to watch, and in fact this is probably better than some really popular films out there. Its a shame this film is not more widely available as i think it could do really well, most of the actors in it are good and its a shame they are not in more films.

Anyway, if you want to enjoy a good laugh and enjoy a film with no strings attached i think you will enjoy this.

Hilarious and sure to be remade with Jim Carrey

This movie was on the shelf in my local video store as one of the top Christmas movies, so I decided to rent it to watch with my kids. Bad idea. You think of Christmas movies as fun family fare, but this one has so much swearing and sexual innuendos, it's totally for adults...and it's hilarious. You have to get beyond the fact that it's made for peanuts, but once you do, you realize how funny these actors are. The main guy, James, gets hypnotized by a magician and starts causing havoc. I can see this one being remade with Jim Carrey next year. All in all, it's a low-budget movie with big-budget laughs. The lasagna scene is worth the rental alone.

Lauren Kurtz is a tiny acting superstar

I found this movie in Cold Lake, Alberta in some ghetto videostore, and after looking at it realized my old friend Lauren Kurtz is in it. Though this movie is baffling at best, I have to give it a ten so Lauren will get some sweet roles and beat the tar out of Scarlett Johansson one day. Also, for the twelve people that watch this, look out for Lauren in "Chicknapping," which is made by the same production company and will no doubt continue to propel little Lauren into super-stardom. Likely Miss Kurtz may stab me for writing this, but hey, I live on the other side of the country now and there is nothing she can do to stop me! Ha.
