The Best Documentary Film ever made on Crop Circles!
ufojim27 May 2014
OK Guys here we go!!! This is the Best Documentary film on Crop Circles Ever Made, repeat, Ever made. The film maker had no prior experience in the Crop Circle World, until making this film. He was as pure as the driven snow in the Crop Circle research world. But, he had the experience to know how to make a documentary film. This film covers much of the general subject matter pertaining to Crop Circles, and has some of the best Researchers/Investigators of Crop Circles in the film. Science was addressed a lot and Geometry, Physics, photography, etc. Sad to say, that two of his experts, Dr. John Mack & Paul Vigay are Dead, yes Dead! John was hit by a car in London a couple of years ago, and Paul drowned in the English Channel(oh, he did not know how to swim, they say suicide?). I sponsored the screening of this film at the 2011 Sonoma International Film Festival in Sonoma, California and we filled the theatre with and it was standing room only. And, again in an outdoor venue, with another standing room only audience. This film is way Great for the General Public and also for the Croppies(people like me who go to Wiltshire , England to enjoy the Crop Circles). Again this is a MUST SEE for a great overview and an in depth appreciation of Crop Circles. Also, if you want you can go to my site, ufosRreal.com to connect to the film. Enjoy, again it is the Best Ever Made on Crop Circles. -Jim

An exceptional history lesson of a different nature
take2docs1 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Here is an exceptional documentary about something truly anomalous that has been occurring in the world but which has (unsurprisingly) largely gone unnoticed by the mainstream media over the decades. It makes for a good introduction for all those unfamiliar with this decades-old anomaly yet is intermittently in-depth enough to appeal to those with more than just a passing interest in this intriguing mystery.

CROSSOVERS FROM ANOTHER DIMENSION is, in part, an above-average overview of its subject matter, with a look at when and where this sub-cultural story first began. The abecedarian learns of how these mysterious formations which appear in wheat, barley, and corn fields had its turning point in about the year 1990, when relatively simple shapes started becoming much more intricate and elaborate. As for why southern England has been the epicenter of these seemingly unearthly pictographs, theories exist, and yet this remains a worldwide phenomenon.

The feature presentation covers basic as well as slightly more advanced information (e.g. talk of geometrical arcana and binary code) surrounding what has been dubbed extramundane "landscape art."

There is certainly an aesthetic component to many of these crop patterns and the doc includes several aerial shots of the more photogenic and well-known of these, which appeared in the late '90s and into the early part of the Aughties.

Yet, interestingly, at the heart of the crop formations are the curious effects they are said to produce, from expulsion cavities and nodal expansion within the stalks to their effects upon those who have actually entered these energy fields and have sometimes experienced healings and visions as a result of this.

CROSSOVERS FROM ANOTHER DIMENSION is an absorbing look at a mystery that has attracted various people to wanting to investigate them, from technologists and meteorologists to soil-studying labcoats and those toting doodlebugs. 'Tis a commendably down-to-earth examination that in my opinion favors an audience comprised more of grounded seekers than escapists and navel-gazers. There are some extra features, and I especially enjoyed the extended interview with Palden Jenkins, who talks about how these patterns appeal to one's intuitive side rather than the rationalistic mindset; how these may ultimately lead to a paradigm shift in consciousness; and the reasons behind why this has largely gone ignored by the media and the apathetic public.

That there are hoaxers and pranksters and possibly disinfo agents involved in this field of study would not be surprising, as the implications extending from the authenticity of the genuine articles would undoubtedly upset the academic status quo.

For anyone who has studied the crop circle phenomenon with an open but skeptical mind, as I have, it's hard not to come to the conclusion that there is definitely something preternatural behind the authentic patterns. I, for one, would personally rule out hedgehogs, scarecrows, and the Roman goddess Ceres, as being the genuine circle-makers. In the end, there is certainly an otherworldly aspect to many of these agrarian masterpieces, and yet the mystery of who or what is behind these awe-inspiring creations may ultimately be an inexplicable one.

Besides Jenkins, we also get to hear from Michael Glickman, Lucy Pringle, and Nancy Talbott, who tells of her own experience. As for why the most arguably renowned crop circle researcher is absent from this documentary remains for me a mystery unto itself. No Colin Andrews? What a shame.
