Escaped criminal, Hawkins, is believed to be responsible for attacking prostitutes, Burnside and Martella are on the case, but find the system is against them.
A pretty good episode, if you were to read a synopsis of it, you'd think this was a really gritty, hard edged episode, in reality though it's a little bland, maybe the direction or the script, but it's just a little wishy washy.
The woman from the Prisoner services is appalling, she's designed as a character specifically to wind Burnside up, but her silence resulted in a lot of violence.
The most offensive thing here was Sheila Hawkins's aqua tracksuit, Oooh some things have really changed for the better.
Decent, 6/10.
