A really sensational episode. The gigantic drill digging into the city walls is truly a thing to behold! Lots of nice humour and exciting action.

"Oh no, what a nightmare!"

A good episode worthy of the Avatar name. We get more of Azula as she takes the reins of the drill to get into Ba Sing Se.

My favorite part is when the Gaang goes down via earthbending and Sokka is like "I can't see a thing!" Then Toph is like "oh no! What a nightmare!" I love how Toph embraces the blind jokes.

Is this the best episode of the series? Not close. But it's really not that bad of an episode. The Drill is quite methodical, and is a good idea from the fire nation. We get some good fight scenes displaying Aang's ability to bend.

No complaints from me for this episode. It was a great addition.

Aang: Recognizes that his priority has to be to fight dangerous evildoers even if he's trying to rescue Appa Sokka: More than proves himself as "the Idea Guy" while also being quite funny Toph: Her familiarity with General Iroh's career as the Dragon of the West makes sense given she's likely to have received a solid education but (aside from her Earthbending) she doesn't get a lot to do this episode Katara: Honestly comes off as hypocritical for saying that Sokka's the one whose job it is to come up with a plan but objecting when Sokka tells her the bending is her job (and Aang's)

Zuko: Doesn't get a lot to do this episode

Azula: Proves her credentials as a villain while giving us some neat action scenes.
