It must be very difficult to do horror stories based on the famous EC comics and also the films and long running TV series with the restrictions of children's television. In fact, I give credit that they could almost do it at all!

Needless to say, there is none of the guts, gore and sexual overtones of the aforementioned comics, films or TV series. But if you were young, these spooky cartoons just might give you a little scare or two. If only of the kind that make you jump and not actual fright perhaps.

Here we have the old tale of tracking a vampire down, in this case, it is a pair of feisty young girls doing the stalking with a home made 'vampire detector kit,' from a book they read on the subject. The twist in the tale isn't anything a well read horror fan wouldn't see coming, still it is entertaining if you don't expect too much.

Obviously not a patch on any of the other series mentioned, this works for what it is, a gentle creepy tale for younger viewers. They can read and view the better good stuff when they get older!
