Open the pod bay doors, DAVE
28 July 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This is the most likely contender for "Best Episode" so far. At the end of what has been a very difficult season to sit through, comes probably the best episode this show has to offer, how ironic. No joke, this episode is up there with "His Silicon Soul" and "Heart of Steel". How do you defeat a computer whose sole purpose is to be smarter than you? This is easily Bruce's toughest challenge so far on this show. Throughout this entire episode, DAVE is three steps ahead of Batman, and outsmarts him multiple times. Bruce has to pull out all the stops in this one, he can't overpower DAVE, he can't outmaneuver DAVE, so he has to outsmart him. But how can he do that when DAVE's entire point of existence is to be smarter than Batman? It's the ultimate Catch 22, it's a never-ending paradox, and it's the best episode of "The Batman" so far.
