The psychic boy and his ghost pal
RainDogJr27 November 2008
Warning: Spoilers
You can hear from Trey Parker and Matt Stone and from South Park fans that the Cartman and Butters episodes usually deliver lots of fun, I'm a big South Park fan and this time you will read here that this Cartman and Butters episode is totally awesome I mean is totally AWESOM-O and I think this will rank in the 5 favourites episodes from Season 9.

On the commentary track Trey and Matt explains that they had the idea of Cartman doing something really horrible and then all the boys ignoring him because of that but Trey and Matt could not imagine what would be that horrible thing that Cartman did since basically Scott Tenorman ate his parents because of Cartman (in one of the very best South Parks of all time). Certainly the horrible thing that Cartman does in this episode can't be compared to that from Scott Tenorman Must Die but certainly we have here a great opening scene. We see the four boys waiting for a nice dinner, Stan's mom will bring them Kentucky F. "Chicken", Cartman will be alone with the chicken and you can imagine the rest, was disgusting! Kenny cried and certainly for the boys this time Cartman went to far, now they ignore the fat and racist kid. So we have our Cartman and Butters show, as I guess you already know Cartman will think he's dead so he feels sorry for all the persons who were close to him and is great since he feels very sad for Stan, Kyle and Kenny since they don't know yet that one of their very best friends is now gone! Certainly every other kid hated Cartman then everybody is ignoring him, everybody but Butters who will be like the kid from The Sixth Sense! Simply this is hilarious stuff (the scene of the hostage situation is awesome! The psychic boy and his ghost pal were "armed only with the weapon of confusion") and we also see Scott Tenorman, Sally Struthers between others since now Cartman is "repairing" everything to finally rest in peace in Heaven and get $10,000 in cash. This episode is a must-see, of course it works like a resume of who is Cartman and who is Butters and of course you should watch it as fast as you can! Poor Butters once again! 9.5 out of 10

The best South Park episode
nigelfour7 April 2022
This is my absolute favourite South Park episode. As a huge fan of the show there are a lot of episodes that I would struggle to put into my top 5 or top 10, however this episode in my opinion stands head and shoulders above the rest. It's just perfect.

It's maybe not 1 to show someone who has never watched South Park before however, you need to know the dynamic of the relationship between Cartman and Butters and Cartman and the other boys, but for fans of this show this is a must watch.

The Death Of Eric Cartman
gangstahippie3 February 2009
Warning: Spoilers
Death Of Eric Cartman has a fairly cool storyline.Cartman eats all the KFC chicken skin before the other boys can and they are then very angry at him for doing it.They decide to ignore him and not be his friend anymore. After Cartman sees that his friends are not talking to him(neither is anyone else because the boys told them not too), he thinks he is dead but needs to do something to get into heaven. The boys did not tell Butters to ignore him so Butters says hi to him.Cartman then thinks that Butters is the only person who can see him, so he asks Butters to help him ascend into heaven. They try many things such as apologizing and giving presents to the people he has wronged, however that does not do it.Meanwhile, Butters's parents think he is crazy and make him go to a psychiatry ward.Cartman busts him out and they see a news story where three escaped cons are holding hostages, Cartman and Butters think that saving them is the only way that they will get into heaven.Death Of Eric Cartman has an interesting storyline and is also very funny at parts.
