He does it again! The most over-hyped European director of our times. I'm talking about Sweidish director Lukas Moodysson of course. Even the great Swedish master Ingmar Bergman went to call Moodysson one of the promising directors in modern cinema. What a miscalculation. Container shows how amateurish Moodysson truly is. Who the hell does he think he is? A new great poet of the cinema? He's more like a one of the biggest mistakes of the modern cinema. Container goes on like a parody of art-house cinema. Grainy black&white photography. Jump cuts and fast editing does nothing good either to this awful piece of crap. After 5-minutesa into this film you can't help but to feel frustrated. Not because of the pacing. That is not the problem, but the lack of ideas and unintentionally hilariously artsy images of two leading actors. Those poor leading actors forced to do wallow in their own angst and walking in slow-motion in the ruins of Tschernobyl. And oh please those "supposed to be poetic" shots of trees and grass. What else do i have to say. This film is a disaster in all the possible ways. Avoid!
