Once more the unfixable Irwin Allen places Seaview in jeopardy!!
elo-equipamentos9 September 2023
Irwin Allen was unfixable, once more he developed a plot to put in jeopardy the Seaview in a new guidance system, whereof all crew are expendable to basic operation, actually the writers already made an episode on season one with same premise with so ominous outcome, not content they sketched another disaster on The Death Ship.

Now all Seaview's crew are disbanded due a new self-driven system is fully attached on Seaview's computer aiming for be more safely, they bring on board eight members who somehow worked as engineers and computers technicians on Marine construction of the Seaview's project, however among them has a foreign spy in order to sabotage the new system to later bomb a ship where will have a summit of two super powers to signature of peace treatment of USA and URSS (of course) on nearby area on pacific ocean.

Surely all plan falls apart, each one is murdering for this conceal spy, lowering in few only, whoever the spy will try torpedoing the peace ship, aside all mismatches carried out by the writers, see once more June Vincent already pays the price, she is a bit older, nonetheless not lost her natural beauty angel face which we used to see on those old Noir pictures as femme fatale, worthwhile a look, concerning about the plot the Admiral Nelson should be retired by allowed such foolish thing on his submarine, blame it the mad Irwin Allen!!

.

Thanks for reading.

Agatha Christie At The Bottom Of The Sea
StuOz30 July 2010
A Voyage/Sea version of Agatha Chritie's Seven Little Indians with a group of guests on the Seaview who each get murdered every ten minutes or so. Who is the killer? If you like Agatha Christie you will love this hour, but if you are like me and DON'T give a crap about Agatha...you will struggle with this hour.

This is my least favourite season two Voyage/Sea episode but this season was so strong in so many areas that it was impossible for year two to do a totally poor episode (unlike season one). Death Ship is only just saved by an action-packed-explosive teaser and Death Ship holds the position of being the third last Voyage show ever filmed to feature women (Return Of The Phantom and The Mermaid were the last two).

There is no question that having gals on the sub does change the general tone of a Voyage episode. However, it often makes the series dated as the female clothing/hair styles reveal the 1960s. Whatever your view on gals on the sub, enjoy the girls while you can because they are about to go!
