Chrissy Snow : You're responsible for that baby, you know.

Jack Tripper : I am not! I've only been in L.A. for six months.
Chrissy Snow : What are you reading?

Jack Tripper : It's called "Quorum: A Study of Personal Relationships."

Chrissy Snow : Oh, a dirty book.

Jack Tripper : It is *not* a dirty book. It is a serious look at modern-day problems of man and woman. And a couple of people who had a crack at being both.

Chrissy Snow : That's what I said, a dirty book.

Jack Tripper : Chrissy, it is filled with scientific facts and figures. They're really fascinating. Do we have a tape measure around here?

Chrissy Snow : Yeah. In the kitchen drawer.

[Jack gets up to go fetch]

Chrissy Snow : What do you want it for?

Jack Tripper : I wanna measure my head. See, they have this theory in that you can measure a person's virility by the size of its skull. Now you see what I mean? Scientific!
Chrissy Snow : Oh, Janet, I do not know one end of a baby from the other. I mean, if I was gonna put on a diaper, it would probably suffocate!
Jack Tripper : Well, that solves that. Now there is only one problem. Looks like we're gonna have to spend the night.

Chrissy Snow : Yeah. And there's only one bed, right?

Jack Tripper : [gleefully] Right!

[Chrissy goes all wide-eyed]
Chrissy Snow : I'm scared of being alone with a baby!
