The roommates are in need of phone repairs, and somebody will have to be in the apartment when the repairman arrives. Jack & Chrissy take advantage of Janets' rock-solid, dependable nature when they take Larry up on his offer to treat the others to a brunch.
However, Janet is tired of being viewed as the "reliable" one. For once, she decides to throw caution to the winds, and join a bunch of protestors who are doing their protesting in the *nude*. And she manages to convince Helen to join her!
Rather than spoiling too much about this episode, I'll simply say that 'Three's Company' fans will get a real kick out of 'Good Old Reliable Janet'. It features some hilarious lines, and some great comedic performances from John Ritter and Norman Fell. (Stanleys' new "hobby", requiring binoculars, serves as a subplot.) There's also a good segment in the Greek restaurant that Larry has discovered. But his attraction to the place has more to do with the belly dancer (Nadia Caillou) rather than the food.
Overall, this is a great showcase for Joyce DeWitt, who's at her sexiest and most appealing here.
Eight out of 10.
