Alex is vulnerable for once

Warning: Spoilers
This is one of my favorite "Taxi" Episodes for one major reason. It is truly one of the rare times that Alex is actually shown as 'human' . By that I mean , Alex has an addiction , Gambling. None other than addictive personality Rev. Jim comes to the rescue. Episode very well done and I think very important for this series ... though it came late in its run. One can always see Alex Reiger as the perfect person that comes to the aid of everyone else. In this episode , it is Alex that has a problem . Quite frankly, it is nice to know that Alex is NOT perfect, after all, and human like all the other people on the show. I also feel it is warmhearted to have Rev. Jim , an addictive mess in his own right, be of use to help Alex in his time of need. Basically , the message to me is that regardless of who you are , you are not invincible from human frailty. Alex has vulnerabilities just like the rest of us. On the other-side of the coin, it shows that sometimes people that are ALWAYS the victim of human frailty , can actually have that one shining moment and make a difference in someones life in a positive way.
