Whether you like it is entirely dependent on whether or not you care for ballet.

If you adore ballet, no doubt you'd enjoy "A Candle for St. Jude" far more than I did. Now I am not an entirely uncultured boob...I do enjoy opera. But I never developed an interest in ballet....and so my review is more for 'boobs' like me!

The story is about a well-respected leader of a ballet school. She's tough, she's exacting and she seems inflexible...it's either her way or it's wrong! But one of her very talented students has written a radical modern ballet and the two bump heads over it being put on by the company.

If you love watching prima donas arguing and running about in a tizzy, then this episode is for you. If you like watching ballet, then it's for you, as there is quite a bit of dancing in this one. Otherwise, you could certainly do better. As for me, I just didn't care about any of this nor the people...it just didn't seem important to me because of my lack of interest in the subject. The acting also seemed anything but subtle...though I have no idea if real life divas act like that or not in the ballet world.
