A sniper is shooting at a high rise office building and demands 1 million dollars.
A very good episode. A subplot has a new captain in charge Keely (Patrick O'Neal), a old friend of Stone's. However Keely has been behind a desk too long and he clashes with Mike and Steve. Keely also uses the PERT (Program Evaluation and Review Technique) chart, which was a real management tool. Mike feels this is not helping and they have a good confrontation scene after the sniper escapes when they are closing in. The sniper is played by Lou Frizzell, who had a memorable role as a druggist in Summer Of '42 (1971).
