So so sad to see these favorite tv tough guy cops with special bond for each other at each others throats this whole episode. Hutch was a jerk and it was sad to see. I suggest skipping this episode.

Warning: Spoilers
Starsky and Hutch fight. Over a woman.

They both want her. They are basically taking turns with. They get all alpha-male and come to blows over her. They ignore their work in order to have her.

How did we get here?

I can only think that, because PMG and DS had their characters connected so perfectly from the start of the show, the only place to grow was apart. The real, first-version Starsky and Hutch would have protected each other's feeling over their own. The manipulative woman in the middle would not have been able to get either one of them caught up in a game like that, much less fighting each other for the privilege.

What made the show worth watching was the extraordinary connection. And now it's gone.

The Worst

Warning: Spoilers
This was a bad story because S&H are being simps over a policewoman. The main story was good but the focus was more on the "love" of this woman vs. Catching the killer.

Throwing in the towel

Yuck. I thought Voodoo Island was the low point for S&H, until I saw this stinker. It's almost unwatchable. They must have known the series was canceled because the writing, direction and acting all say, "who cares?"

Which is the "A" story and which is the "B" in this script? Hard to tell because S&H are seemingly under the influence of personality altering drugs that cause them to act nuttier than the psychopath they're pursuing.
