Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • Arguably on par with "DS9," this is a fairly graphic episode in violence. Species 8472 is violent and kills without mercy. There are several graphic scenes, such as one where Harry is attacked by them, and the wounds and attack is very graphic. We all see plenty of injured Borg and it's graphic. Not for kids.

Profanity

  • Cinemax content warnings for the airings of this episode: rated TV-14-V for violence (V).
  • Cinemax content warnings for the more uncut version of this episode: rated TV-MA-V for violence (V).

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • One of the scarier episodes. This episode is not for kids. This episode was a prelude to "Signs" as the aliens were very similar and diabolical. These monsters enjoy preying on their victims. And they are more powerful than the Borg. Parents should be warned that this episode of the classic UPN show is graphic in blood.
