With the legionnaires disease a possibility and the hospital reeling financially, there is natural conflict, especially from administration. But the strength of this episode is human interaction. One focuses on the two friends that clash over the aforementioned issue. We have a young woman with a serious arthritic condition who is lonely and helpless and who is driving the nurses crazy. Then there is Fiscus who gets brained by a couple of gang members, and who has lost his innocence. The final scene is so soft and so beautiful and so simple.
