Christmas Who?: Nobody in Bikini Bottom has ever heard of Christmas or Santa Clause until Sandy lets them in on this surface tradition. SpongeBob wants to bring Christmas to Bikini Bottom this year and his enthusiasm is infectious. Everyone gets into the spirit, waiting for Santa to arrive on the big day. Everyone except Squidward, who has scoffed at SpongeBob the whole while. When Santa is a no show on Christmas morning, everyone blames SpongeBob for getting their hopes up. But in a surprise ending, Squidward uncharacteristically saves the day and Christmas ends up coming after all. Written by NAS

Merry Christmas, SpongeBob
23 December 2012 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Patchy the Pirate segment- Patchy is very excited for his Christmas party and he has a lot of things planned...if only his trouble making parrot, Potty, would stop messing everything up. Patchy decides to take a break and tell us how SpongeBob and all of Bikinni Bottom felt about their first Christmas.

Christmas Who?- Sandy is very excited for Christmas to come, and is surprised when SpongeBob has no clue of what Christmas is. Sandy tells SpongeBob all about the holiday. SpongeBob tells everyone in Bikinni Bottom all about the holiday and everyone excepts with full arms. However, there is a curmudgeon to this Christmas special, too, and this time,it's Squidward, who tells everyone in Bikinni Bottom that Christmas isn't possible and poor SpongeBob believes he's right when Santa Claus dosen't visit Bikinni Bottom. However, SpongeBob decides to give Squidward a gift that gives Squidward a guilty conscience because of the way he treated everyone and he decides to don the red suit and save Christmas. This episode is very well done and hilarious. The song "This Feels Like the Very First Christmas to Me" is well-done and has several good jokes in it. My favorite part is when Patchy the Pirate is pretending to sail SpongeBob and Patrick on a boat in a thunderstorm. This was a great Christmas special. 8/10
