Episode 15 introduces Dinah Manoff and Inga Swenson
kevinolzak20 April 2010
Episode 15 begins with Corinne's arrival in prison, featuring a rare acting cameo from the attractive creator-writer-producer Susan Harris as Babette,a hooker posing as a travel agent(charging a hundred dollars to go around the world),who recognizes Chester("hi,Chet!").Meanwhile,in Ecuador,we are introduced to Corinne's natural parents,Ingrid Svenson(Inga Swenson),the Tates' Swedish maid, and Randolph Gatling(Bernard Fox),Mary and Jessica's brother, exiled to South America by his mother, who wanted the baby to be raised by his sister Jessica as a Tate. How a single homicide in Dunn's River,Connecticut would find its way to a newspaper in Ecuador is never explained, but the story of Corinne's arrest leads Ingrid to travel back to the US to see her daughter(this was the only episode in which we see the long-lost Randolph, who looks and sounds like the stiff-upper-lip British type). An increasingly irrational Burt starts conducting his own investigation into Peter's death, while Mary keeps tabs on her son Jodie, worried about him trying to kill himself again.Tiring of running from the Mob,Danny decides to confront Mr. Lefkowitz, who's still out to kill him,but ends up in the bedroom of Elaine Lefkowitz(Dinah Manoff),his daughter, who offers to help Danny,if he can keep her satisfied(truly lust at first sight).

Outrageous, the plot is insane.
Sleepin_Dragon8 November 2023
Corrine is arrested for Peter's murder, her birth mother Ingrid Swenson hears of her daughter's arrest, and decides to leave Ecuador, and come to her daughter's aid.

Outrageous, they really are cherry picking all of the best bits out of soaps, how many times did long lost relatives pop up from South America, it's utterly ridiculous, but so funny, even the dodgy set and cheap looking set look perfect.

Oh my days, the wonderful Bernard Fox, what an actor, I didn't expect to see him appear on the show, but such is the variety, you never know who or what is coming next.

Loved Elaine, she was hilarious, I hope she becomes a regular, and in with her all the way, Danny is drop dead gorgeous.

I don't want this first series to end.

Susan Harris, appearing as Babette, as in the writer Susan Harris.

8/10.
