It's just Homer losing his license instead of Marge losing hers.

Wish it was there was some conflict where Homer gets his license back but, it never came.

A similar plot was used in Season 10's Screaming yellow Honkers where Marge loses her license.

Brake My Wife, Please

Marge ends up hurting Homer, in a really nice heartfelt episode, that manages to balance both the absurd comedy that the show is famed for, with a nice sweet finale.

S14 has been remarkably consistent, and this is a good example of that.
