Shane's Past Haunts Him Again
csmith-9961518 January 2020
In this episode a mean hillbilly clan comes to town to kill Shane. Seems, according to one of the clan he shot a family member in the back a couple years ago. Now when you have Shane's reputation, it doesn't really matter if the allegations are true or not. Pretty good episode even if the ending was predictable. Too bad this series was cancelled after 17 episodes.

Things are Complicated

Warning: Spoilers
So in this episode, we see another side of Ryker. He actually sides with Shane and is angry that Shane is being a "nice" guy and not calling Kemp (I think it was) out right away. Ryker, for some reason, cares that Shane may be walking into a situation that could get him into trouble and offers him a rifle. I love how Ryker comes to help during the shooting, but admits he's not sure why he's there.

And the ending scene when all the men are laying down in the dirt with the Bible open...THAT is great! Ryker, Tom, and Shane all three quote the scripture the Bible is open to. Another great performance, I believe. And an added bonus was seeing Warren Oats in this one. I think he is a GREAT bad guy!
