I mistakenly expected WEAPONS OF WAR to be a big season climax given that it was the last ever episode of SEAQUEST. However, it turns out that the show was cancelled mid-season, so this is very much a self-contained little story. Julia Nickson is a welcome guest actress and the episode allows for some pathos involving Ted Raimi's character. I still think it's a pity that the show wasn't allowed to finish at the end of season three, perhaps with a final cameo from Scheider.
