Guess Who's Coming To Dinner
RavenGlamDVDCollector17 August 2017
With this one, the show is slightly more on track. I'm not talking about the theme or story-line, let's face it, Sabrina, or Melissa Joan Hart, is real-life Barbie to the girl grade school generation back then, and the styling of their heroine is at least better.

Another aged guy who used to be in a sitcom, this time it's David Garrison, who used to be, I think, Steve, is it? on MARRIED WITH CHILDREN's early seasons. The tenuous subject of racism is broached. What I just don't get, the Axelrods are obviously mortal, not a trace of other-worldly physical evidence to them, like, they don't have antlers or tentacles or hairy tongues, the son is a strapping young dude, yet they live in the Other Realm and look down upon humans. Whoever thought this up merely copied, well, I don't know, GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER (not that I have seen that) or something like that, and tried very hard to drive the point home without really thinking about what was needed for the show.

What am I complaining about? Nothing. As long as the sight gags don't get too dorky and young MJH shows off her long, luscious golden mane.

And there I am behind her sitting at the table with sideburns at the 8:30 mark. She was nice. So was Soleil Moon Fry. The boyfriend guy was nice and dating Melissa in real life at the time.

While Zelda is at the Other Realm dentist, she finds Sabrina a boyfriend from Dr. Axelrod.
dinsaurwar10 February 2007
Warning: Spoilers
Zelda must go to the Other Realm dentist because of something Hilda made, meanwhile Sabrina has a difficult time finding a boyfriend. When someone is a half mortal like Sabrina, it is apparently difficult to find someone. While Zelda's at the dentist, Dr. Axelrod proposes someone for Sabrina (his son). When him and Sabrina get together to meet the boy's parents, the father (Dr. Axelrod) says he wouldn't want to live with a half-mortal or live in the same neighborhood with one. When Zelda is back at the dentist, Dr. Axelrod tells of half-mortal jokes he said Sabrina laughed at. Zelda doesn't understand how she could've enjoyed them. Finally, the boy and Sabrina break up because they really do have differences that they come to find out themselves. Hilda and Zelda try to console her and tell her it's not easy.
