All the men in the family mess up with romance. David claims it is a woman's obligation to have children, Dan thinks romance is useless and Mark says Becky will never make as much money as him. Fred uses soap operas to make a romantic proposal and Dan ends up giving Roseanne the most romantic gift.
The episode had many great moments. The one thing that made it less great were all the soap moments with Roseanne. I couldn't even concentrate on them. Maybe it was funner in the 90's when this shows were popular and people knew the characters?.
Becky and Mark made me sad, it is true he now makes more than her, but if she went to college she would have made it...so sad she messed it up.
Fred's proposal both made it hard to keep a straight face and at the same time was so great I was jealous of Jackie. I want to go to the cabin too!. And I was very happy for Roseanne finally getting her dishwasher. She wanted it forever.
