Dan's father comes for a visit. They again have their disagreements but Roseanne helps Dan to get himself together and spend the time with his father.
Dan's father, Ed Connor, is played by Ned Beatty. He is a very familiar actor. No wonder as his nickname is "the busiest actor in Hollywood". Well since then we have a few who can be a competition to him but he has been on screen for a very long time. He was a great choice and really seems to be Dan's father.
It had fun moments. My favorite was when Dan asks what stories he keeps on telling over and over again and Roseanne says the one where he was the first customer in a new supermarket. It was pretty fun since it seems such a nonstory compared to what his dad was telling.
