Warning: Spoilers
Jackie has a new boyfriend Gary that she is crazy about. But Roseanne is worried because Jackie often ends up with guys who use her and tells her to be careful. Jackie tries to stay away from Gary but he convinces her that he loves her and she is mad at Roseanne.

Well, while mingling in somebody's life isn't the best thing to do but Roseanne was right. Even though Gary didn't want to use Jackie she acted like making him use her. Always doing what he wants, having no own opinion. This is what usually makes her end up with guys who use her. In this case she was lucky. He seems like a very nice character. I liked the conversations he had with her. Good dialogue and well acted.

Ugh

For true Roseanne fans, this is a tough episode to watch. To see Jackie in such a vulnerable, naive light and how it conflicts with her relationship with Roseanne is somewhat uncomfortable and, well, not funny. I don't hate it, as I think it was a good character development episode (major kudos to Metcalffe for some great acting), but I'm also not fond of it either.
