Was hoping Mark finally had a more adult role--was wrong.

At the beginning of this episode, Mark and a few of his friends are scaring cattle all in fun due of Halloween. They wear cloth masks and run around the country side causing cattle to scatter across the area. Needless to say, Lucas is none to happy when he learns that Mark and his friends were the ones behind the shenanigans.

It gets even worse when two cattle rustlers see what the kids have done and now they are going along the country side scaring the cattle and then going to move the cattle to Mexico to sell. And they know that the boys are the ones that will get blamed.

Meanwhile, two new members have moved into the North Fork community. Mr Bullock and his son Percy. Mr Bullock is a naive Englishman with a large book collection. When Mark begins going over to the Bullock's home at night, Lucas begins to think that Mark may have been caught up in Mr Bullock's line of cattle rustling. Lucas sets off to straighten things out with Bullock face-to-face.

This episode turns out to be the trust between father and son but I wish the writer had taken more liberty in Mark's progress in age. Mark is getting older and would have been nice to see him in a more adult role having to face transgressions- but the writer and producers kept the safe path. Plus again you have a supposedly new neighbor in North Fork that really had no reason to visit the rough rural means of the west. A book salesman in North Fork could not be more suspect in nature. An average show that brought nothing new to the table.
