Warning: Spoilers
Warning do not read unless seen episode.

This is my second favorite episode in the show, it is just a hilarity fest as there is just not one dull moment from this episode.

I love the concept on positive viruses which I think is a unique concept and makes a lot of sense when you think about it. My favorite positive virus is the Luck virus which is awesome, this is the kind of virus I would love to carry if I ever go to a casino. With this virus you can never lose or could get anything you want by just saying it and it would be there by running into it by what seems like mere accident or coincidence; if I say I want a Nintendo Switch console, I would find one by simply bumping into it with my foot.

But of course the highlight of the episode are the Quarentine that Lister, Kat, and Kriton are forced to go though. It's just hilarious as we see all three of them are just losing their minds and at each others throats. The most hilarious one for me was seeing Kriton in that state as he's a character that is usually calm and nice, here it completely went out the window. One funny verbal joke is when Kriton describes a disgusting habit of Lister's on blowing his nose and what he does afterward; it's really funny because of how much it feeds your imagination but also the extent of Kriton's grief. Yeah, I imagine if I was ever in this situation, I'd probably lose my cool too.

And of the other highlight was seeing Rimmer going crazy and armed with Hex power. Rimmer was both funny and a little scary, from some of what he says to those red glowing eyes like Mum Ra from "Thundercats". It's hilarious as we see the extent of his insanity from wearing a Strawberry Shortcake dress, but most importantly his penguin puppet Mr. Flibble. It just cracks me up as he is just making that puppet seem like it has a mind of it's own, like one moment when he has Flible whisper a suggestion into his ear, I don't know what Flible said and I don't think I want to know.

This episode is feverish with fun.

Very good episode but slightly overhyped

Rimmer places Lister, Cat and Kryten in quarantine following exposure to a virus.

This is a strong episode with a good plot, decent sci-fi concepts and solid humour.

Right from the start you can see Rimmer is going to be at the heart of this one as he is in full 'pompous git mode' from the opening scene and directs all his obnoxiousness at Kryten. What follows is some great sci-fi comedy-horror.

It is usually always placed high on a number of 'best of' lists, but for me it's not worth the amount of hype it gets. There are a number of memorable scenes and lines, but personally I don't find it as funny as some other episodes, but I understand how subjective comedy is and that others may find it all hilarious.

The best aspect for me is Chris Barrie's overall performance as Rimmer going from thoroughly unlikeable to funny to scary in a matter of scenes. The scenes of the crew in quarantine are good but I think could have been better if there was more focus on it and the associated banter.
