This episode of Otherworld find the Sterling family hitching a ride on a ramshackle old bus driven by scavenger Charles Lane in a bit of a switch from the parts he normally played. The Sterlings are on the lookout for zone troopers, but a renegade motorcycle gang led by Marjoe Gortner gets them instead.
Gortner keeps the troops in line by keeping them good and stoned on a hallucinogen manufactured by the gang. Some however like Vincent Schiavelli and Jeff East keep their wits about them and aren't crazy about Marjoe's rules.
Schiavelli even has the first concrete proof of the Sterlings' own world when he produces a dollar bill that he says another vagabond stranger left with him.
The climax includes a joust on motorcycles that was right out of Ivanhoe and a raid from the Zone Troopers led by the Sterling nemesis Jonathan Banks. Sam Groom handled the cycle the way Robert Taylor his horse in one of his iron jockstrap roles.
I really enjoyed this one.
