Two plot developments. Holling is attending a LaMaze class led by Joel. He smirks and giggles whenever talk of the female anatomy comes up. Shelley is disgusted with him and disappointed in his casual approach to something so serious. This whole pregnancy thing is tiring for me. The more interesting event is Leonard bringing Ed on a house call, where a pretty young Native American girl is having trouble with sounds. Ed is immediately taken to her and she seems to like him. But Ed backs off because he feels the girl, who is impressive intellectually and in her accomplishments, is beyond him. He is then visited by the green man, a dwarf who gives off sparks. He is the incarnation of low self esteem and encourages Ed to move on and realize he is not worthy. This is a bit silly but in a cosmic sense it works.
