The fall of the Berlin Wall in 1990 brought about a reunification of Germany which, predictably, led to a resurgence of Neo-Nazism. This episode opens with Alan watching a fascist riot on television. Sensing an opportunity to make money, he teams up with Nicki Ceaucescu ( Paul Bentall ), son of the late Romanian dictator - gatecrashes a Nazi meeting, denounces the Fourth Reich as 'fifth rate', and tries to take over. The ace up his sleeve is a flask containing Hitler's remains - no, not his brain. Its his knob!
As happened in Season 2's 'The Haltemprice Bunker', Alan tries to exploit Nazism for his own ends, only this time its not so funny. 'Frau Kleist' ( Brigitte Kahn ) returns, and with Sarah ( who is sexually attracted to her ) tries to kill Alan with a bomb. Neeedless to say, he instead uses it to wipe out the Nazis.
Things To Look Out For - the 'Marlene Dietrich' impersonator is none other than the now-famous Paul O'Grady, here credited as 'Paul Savage'.
Funniest moment - Herr Wessel ( Hans Meyer ) looks into the flask, and pronounces the organ to be genuine: "I recognise Goering's teeth-marks!".
