The body of an unidentified woman is found in the pool of a very wealthy couple, whose the husband is played by Wendell Corey. The story begins with that and it appears that the latest, maybe, known this woman, and from this everything is possible. Especially when, after a little while, Corey's character becomes the victim of a blackmailer, because of the woman's body and the relationship she may had with the married and happy husband.
It remains more a drama than a crime, or a smooth crime tale, with a foreseeable ending. Nothing special here, always this effective atmosphere directed by Walter Grauman.
