A cocky Hollywood star beats his rap again, and a rich client is charged with Murder One

We get to first meet the two clients of a prestigious Los Angeles law firm, whose lead lawyer is the seasoned and well prepared attorney Ted Hoffman (Daniel Benzali). Are these two clients guilty? Well we the audience have our doubts of both their innocence and/or their guilt, but after watching the pilot episode I for one would hopefully have as my defense lawyer a shrewd and savvy lawyer as Ted Hoffman portrays to be.

The pilot episode jumps right in to the judicial system reflecting the ways and means the police detectives utilize to make an arrest, the approach the prosecuting attorneys use within the preliminary trials and trials and of course the stellar performances of the defense attorneys use to prove their clients are innocent by reasonable doubt..

The acting is top notch, and I for one intend to continue watching further episodes through to seasons 1 & 2 expecting to see superior drama that exceeds most lame crime/drama shows such as the diluted Law & Order TV series has become over 22 seasons.

I rate this pilot episode a deserving 8 out of 10 IMDb rating.
