Amanda strikes back and catches Ted!
blanbrn6 May 2021
This "Melrose Place" episode from season 2 called "Psycho-Therapy" which aired on April 20, 1994 involved drama and conflict that was caught, faced and resolved head on. After Amanda(Heather Locklear) had fired strange handy apartment repair man Ted he continued to snoop and spy and peep around. Only the tables are turned as along with Jo Amanda finds Ted up in the attic and catches his sick acts and he even admits his sick game to her after Amanda fights fire and ties him up getting him to beg and cry for help when she teases him with some knife fourplay! Overall tense high drama episode that resolved the Ted plot conflict from season 2.

It's a turning point on the show for me.

Warning: Spoilers
This is the episode where I start flat out hating some characters. Billy, Michael and Amanda, are a waste of fresh air. Billy for being a meat head who literally admitted being one. Yet think he knows best. Michael's disgusting schemes, preying on people when they are at their most vulnerable. Which Matt finally understood. And Amanda, feeling like Wonder Woman, when someone is tied up, and unable to fight back. I know the latter was meant to be her « I am woman... » moment. But Jo, was the one who handled it the best. True there's also Sidney, who keeps abusing the situation. But Kimberly's last second return, showed it was the beginning of her downward spiral. So, as I don't kick a (wo)man down, she's not on my most hated list. Neither is Alison, because she ultimately embraced her psychotherapist's enlightened observations. I think the second half of season 2, is the roller coaster ride of emotions we've all be waiting for. And is perfectly paired with season 3 and 4. So sit back, and enjoy.
