and army Colonel Arch Johnson sends in many spies who are discovered. But
manages to dragoon Roger Moore into being a spy.
Post our Civil War there was a lot of activity from the Irish Republican Brotherhood aka the Fenians, some of it taking place in Canada and stirred up by Irish emigres in the USA. The episode, comic as it has a good basis in fact.
The episode is thick with blarney and Arthur Shields with niece Sharon Hugueny at the heart of it. The ending involving Hugueny is a really fitting and funny coda to the proceedings.
