The redemption of Ted

After Ted auditions for a game show in New York the newsroom regulars realise they don't want him to go.

Pretty funny episode and another step towards the redemption of Ted as he becomes less obnoxious and generally more sympathetic, though not much smarter.

One Could Say He Got Screwed

Ted Baxter heads to New York to audition for a game show that pays way more than his anchor spot. He really does well and gets the job. It's a really stupid game show, but it has a real quality to it. But for some reason, the people in the newsroom start to believe they will miss him. Lou and Mary decide they need to figure out a way for him to stay. Lou is going to have to go against everything he believes to real him in. Of course, things get resolved in Lou's office. I have to say that Ted passed up some big opportunities.
