***SPOILERS*** When wear-house robber Jerry Lance, Frank Killmore, was shot in the face and severely injured his two fellow robbers brother Marty and John Keefer, Gerry Walberg & Bernard Fan,kidnapped out of the hospital operation room eye specialist Dr. Elliott Conan, Les Tremaywe, to operate on the wounded Jerry. That's when Dr. Conan was involved in a delicate eye operation on little Pattie Blocker, Terry Burnham,who if he doesn't complete the operation she may never see again.
Knowing that the two robbers would need top flight medical equipment for Dr, Conan to successfully operate on Jerry Lance the police lead by Det. Let. Frank Ballinger, Lee Marvin, of M Squad check out all the places that sell that kind of equipment to draw the hoods out when they receive it in their hideout. With no choice for Marty to save his brother's sight much less his life, with infection setting in, he gets or orders the equipment that Dr. Conan needs to operate on Jerry with an added bonus: Let. Det. Frank Ballinger disguised as a delivery man added in.
