The story for this one gives us more background on Margaret Pynchon and how she assumed power at the Trib two decades earlier. Again, Nancy Marchand is in top form and so is Linda Kelsey as Billie, assigned to help ghost write the publisher's autobiography. The episode features some great on-location filming at a palatial mansion in the Los Angeles area, and it is obvious that interiors have been filmed inside the mansion (not on a Hollywood soundstage). The subplot connects to the main plot rather well, when it turns out that a woman Charlie has been battling with is the daughter of the Trib's former managing editor, a man who had been intimately involved with Margaret.
