Not bad but the ending is very weak.

"Lights Out" was a horror anthology show from the very early days of television. Most of the episodes are apparently lost--which is pretty typical of TV at the time. However, a few episodes still exist and are available for free download at archive.org.

This particular episode of "Lights Out" features Patric Knowles as a man who has just married an heiress. However, the fortune and estate she owns isn't as wonderful as it sounds, as there is a curse associated with it--one that effects the men of the house. It seems that a distant relative hates women--and uses his evil powers to influence men to kill their wives! The idea is pretty interesting and showing the dead man and his friends appearing and imploring Knowles to kill is pretty cool. However, what isn't cool is the ending--which just seems anticlimactic and bad. It's a shame, as up until then it was pretty involving and clever.
