Warning: Spoilers
Larry (Garry Shandling working the angsty smarm like a pro) gets upset after Dana Carvey guest hosts his show and takes to it like a duck to water.

The biting script by Shandling and Paul Simms nicely points out how the ruthless cut-throat nature of show business and rivalry between networks can have a significant negative impact on the friendship between two people who both are a part of show business. Moreover, the ever-inept Hank (an excellent Jeffrey Tambor) gets a few choice moments that include his bungled audition as host for the show and offering some especially asinine advice to Carvey about listening to guests that he interviews. Arthur (fine work from Rip Torn) criticizing Hank for the slow manner that he speaks in makes for a memorably poignant moment. And Carvey's last line to Larry is a beaut. Good stuff.
