When the circus comes to town
bkoganbing12 December 2016
This episode of Laredo concerns a series of bank robberies which seem to be no coincidence that they occur just after a small circus gives a performance and leaves town. As impresario of the circus Michael Evans is also the brains behind the robberies. But proving it, as the Bard said, 'aye there's the rub'.

The problem is that when searched there's no trace of the money at the show. But Evans has one unique device for both escaping and laundering the loot at the same time. It's the key to the whole show.

There's also Robert Wolders romancing Evans's daughter Melodie Johnson for business and pleasure and Neville Brand showing uncommon good sense not to get in the same cage as a tiger even if it was to search for stolen loot.

Everybody loves the circus.
