Michael Kuzak : Victor's in court.
Douglas Brackman, Jr. : Representing the baby killers.
Michael Kuzak : He's only representing the mother. The judge wanted co-counsel because this is a murder case. He appointed John Trischuta to represent the father.
Douglas Brackman, Jr. : I don't know how you can defend either one of them.
Michael Kuzak : The baby wasn't killed, Douglas. The baby died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
Arnie Becker : So the theory goes.
Michael Kuzak : Victor says they're innocent, and I believe him.
Douglas Brackman, Jr. : All I know is it would be nice to see this firm representing somebody other than an accused murderer for a change.
Abby Perkins : I have this arsonist I'm trying to snag.

Leland McKenzie : All right, Douglas, what's the matter?
Douglas Brackman, Jr. : Nothing. I just don't appreciate all the jocularity of this staff meeting, that's all.
Leland McKenzie : Okay.
Douglas Brackman, Jr. : Leland. Wait. I had a date last night.
Leland McKenzie : Yes?
Douglas Brackman, Jr. : Things progress to the point where there was an opportunity for a culmination of sorts, and I couldn't. I haven't been intimate with the woman from almost a year, Leland.
Leland McKenzie : Is this, uh... is there something... uh, medical?
Douglas Brackman, Jr. : It's Sheila.
Leland McKenzie : I beg your pardon?
Douglas Brackman, Jr. : Sex reminds me of her. And I think it's her memory that incapacitates me.
Leland McKenzie : Well, that doesn't... that doesn't sound like it could be right, Douglas.
