  Grodd : [showing him a picture of a large gorilla]  This is Giganta. She was a lovely child, don't you think? If I could do that for her, think what I can do for you.

• Parasite : [escaping from the Justice League]  Why didn't you let us finish 'em?

  Grodd : In a warehouse? That's far too small a stage.

• Grodd : Will you do the honors, my dear?

  Parasite : Hey, can't you see the label? This stuff's dangerous.

  Grodd : That's exactly what I'm counting on. Go ahead.

  The Shade : [Giganta removes the lids and dumps the canisters over]  Mud?

  Grodd : Living mud.

  [it takes a solid form] 

  Grodd : Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the final member of our secret society: Clayface.

  Grodd : It's not a country. One man owns the whole island; Morgan Edge, a collector.

  Parasite : Of what? Art? Jewels?

  Grodd : And other things. He keeps it all in the main house.

• Grodd : [watching the others train]  Imagine the childhoods they must have had.

  The Shade : Imagine what's gonna happen when someone makes them a better offer.

  Grodd : None of us is in this for the money. Sinestro's sworn a blood oath against all Green Lanterns. Parasite simply hates Superman. Giganta's totally devoted to me.

  The Shade : What about the other one?

  Grodd : Killer Frost? She just likes to kill.

  The Shade : And me? I suppose you got that figured out, too.

  Grodd : You're a master criminal, Shade. But you could be a master of the world.

  The Shade : I've tried. I'll settle for where I am now.

  Grodd : How are you going to feel in ten years, when you're still being chased around warehouses and rooftops, joints aching, lungs burning? This is a chance to rid ourselves of the League once and for all, to see how far we can go when there's no one in our way.

  The Shade : The League's just so powerful. How do you stop them?

  Grodd : [turning on a surveillance video of the League]  By watching lots of television.

  Killer Frost : Cool.

  Grodd : The water. *Only* the water.

  Killer Frost : [disappointed]  Aw...
