This episode begins with a lady drug addict going through the throes of withdrawal. However, her supplier could care less--no heroin until she pays for it. In desperation, she shoots him and takes the drug. You almost feel sorry for her--after all, she is an addict and can't help herself...right?! Later, this same strung out lady looks fine--sober and relaxed. She shows up at a Women's Center and meets her two friends. She lies and says she's gotten off the drugs. She also has a proposition--let's all go in for a life of crime! It isn't as crazy as it sounds--one friend is married to an abusive spouse and the other is a single mother with a sick child in need of expensive medical care. And, reluctantly, the two agree and begin a series of robberies. However, this turns out to be a serious problem, as their red-headed ringleader is a nut case!! She is very trigger-happy and her two friends are afraid of her--and afraid to quit. What will happen next? See the show for yourself to see.
Patricia Hindy is great in her florid portrayal of the drug-using gang leader. Without her crazed performance, this one would have only gotten a 7. See it...it's like Thelma and Louise being led by Squeaky Fromme! Wild and crazy.
