The tone of this episode is more upbeat again, after being a bit more moody and sad for a few episodes. Of course, you feel bad for Meredith, but there are many laughable and witty moments in this episode. I think they did it well, it would be depressing if every episode was as sad as Meredith's situation.
George being Burke's guy and then screwing it up was so fun! As was Bailey with the measuring tape in front of the camera team.
Sheperd's character is always being so understanding and genuine, I bet he's many people's favourite on the show. And we understand why Meredith is so head over heels in love with him.
The song playing when they eat in the cafeteria with the girl in the wheelchair is by a Norwegian artist, and being Norwegian myself, I think that's pretty cool!
I love the ending of this episode, Alex kissing Izzie. The kiss looks real, a very good on screen kiss. There are way too many bad kisses in movies and series that just looks awkward and forced.
